Rainbow over Clearlake after rain stormThis is where we stayed the first night. We left home on Sunday morning about 8:30 a.m. after saying goodbye to the boys and pets. The 5 freeway to Sacramento was pretty boring. We hit quite a bit of rain from central CA all the way to Sacramento. The drive on I-16 from Sacramento to Clearlake was beautiful, especially the town of Capay. Arrived in Clearlake at 5:30 and it was pretty cold. Ate Chinese food at the Magic Wok and stayed at the Best Western.
